"Chrysler" on the hubcaps but "Dodge" on the rear tailgate. The VJ was released as a Chrysler, so why was there a Dodge version as well?

Just came across this and thought I would throw an answer in.
The dodge version was your poverty pack ute for fleet services etc, pretty much all of them were 215/3speed and very very basic

All Valiant utes were badged as Dodge, only the CL Panel Van wore a Chrysler Badge and not Dodge, So Jarrad Saleta get your facts right before commenting and they all came out in the same engines as the sedans, 215, 245, 265 and 318V8 and the export Valiant including Dodge ute were all fitted with 225 Slant Six except those going to New Zealand which got both types, HEMI 6 and SLANT 6 including the FIREBALL 318, 360 and the 340 depending on order spec's like 770, 770 Regal, 770 XL Charger. Deluxe, Medium, High and Special (Pacer, R/T and Drifter) 7-s-41 Pacer and 7-s-29 R/T Charger.
